First Visit

At your first visit, it is very important to us that we get to know you better.

During this visit, we will spend time with you to understand your specific dental needs. All our new patients benefit from a comprehensive examination. This examination includes a complete check of your head and neck muscles, jaw joint, an oral cancer screen as well as a dental check of your gums and teeth.

We will always take a series of x-rays, based on your needs, which is very valuable in giving us information about possible cavities that we cannot see just by looking in your mouth. Also, these radiographs tell us about the amount of bone surrounding each tooth which is important in diagnosing gum problems.

After this initial comprehensive exam, we will be able to create a custom treatment plan for you, which will address your dental concerns and provide a time frame for treatment as well as approximate costs.

It would be helpful to us if you would bring a current list of your medications, and provide us with your updated health history.

If you have dental benefits, please bring your insurance information so that we can assist you in understanding the details of your plan. We will also be able to submit your claims electronically.
